Torey Lea Cox Webb, 40, of Independence passed away in Galax, VA, Wednesday, June 07, 2017. She was born November 8, 1976 to the late Harmon Ernest and Nancy Virginia Cox. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by brother, Ricky Cox. Survivors include husband, Leon Webb; daughters, Desiree Cox and Mikayla Webb; brother, Tim Cox (Tina Mabe); and a very special friend and second mom, Lynn Hazelwood. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at Independence United Methodist Church beginning at 11am. Jimmy McKnight and Chuck Edwards will officiate. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10am until 11am. Flowers are appreciated or Memorials can be made to The American Cancer Society.
