Ms. Jackie Cockerham Rector, 68 of Galax, VA passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Galax Health and Rehab. She was born on October 15, 1952 in Galax, VA to the late Eugene and Margie Bunn Cockerham. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jean Talley. She is survived by her children, Jamie Rector of Surf City, NC, Lynn and Mitch Huggins of Fayetteville, NC, Leigh and Brian Stuart of Galax, VA, Tina and Garrett Shelton of North Dakota and Chris Rector of Surf City, NC; grandchildren, Cole, Cody and Chandler Rector, Trevor and Justin Huggins, Jacob, Jayson and Jenna Stuart, Abby Price, Christian and Taylor Shelton. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Monta Vista Memory Gardens beginning at 11am. Pastor Jackie Poe will officiate.
